Being too busy gives you nightmares. Ecclesiates 5:3 TLB
Riding to church sunday morning I glanced in the vanity mirror and noticed I was sporting one gold and one pearl earring. This occurred even with our Sunday morning devotion on “Becoming a Woman of Excellence” by Cynthia Heald.
Clearly I’m still in the becoming stage.
My nightmare is being in public with two different earrings on.
Time to slow down.

Well said. I have done that with socks and earrings.
When we pack our schedules full and leave no time for us or are families that has disaster written all over it.
It is important to share the gifts that God has given us but we must do so wisely and after careful prayer and meditation.
In our pastor’s sermon this past week he talked about active listening.
Two women walking on a busy street, one hears a cricket in the middle of the chaos, the other does not. The two women walk to a planter across the street and one of them parts the petunias to find the small cricket.
” How did you hear this cricket?” one woman exclaims to the other.
” It’s all about what you are listening for”, she replies.
In our noisy world are we hearing what God wants from us?
Thanks for your insight.
