Every day I like to do something that scares me.
Choosing faith over fear, I went to work at a friends firm in Austin.
It scares me.
I’m scared in a good way.
Praying all day I can stay razor-sharp and accomplish as much as I can for our clients.
I am not commuting or working alone.
You have not to do it in your unaided strength: it is God who is all the while supplying the impulse, giving you the power to resolve, the strength to perform, the execution of His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13
In a nut shell my work encompasses being a tenacious problem-solver for each person I meet throughout my day and doing it with excellence.
A tenacious problem-solver? That’s you. And yet, as you point out, you don’t have to solve the problems completely alone, and the One with all solutions accompanies you and indwells you. I love hearing how you live out your high calling with such a beautiful balance of confidence and dependence, joy and fear.
Joy and fear! What a perfect description Ann. It’s a great honor to have you stop by.
What a delight to meet a fellow believer yesterday at our Central Texas Authors meeting! I never thought of the fear concept in this way but it’s an interesting approach. Plus it makes total sense as a step of faith.
Blessings!
